During the 1970s and 80s Ben Mattijsenn was involved in promoting folk music in the Netherlands including running major festivals in Arnhem, Dordrecht and Utrecht. For these he booked top performers who were often recorded while performing. This CD of Celtic musicians is taken from such recordings, as well as including some unreleased studio tracks from the Tannahill Weavers. There are also notable tracks including a rare recording of Silly Wizard featuring Dougie MacLean and 14 year old Eithne Brennan's debut with Clannad before she took the professional name Enya and had a successful solo career.
