Donald Lindsay plays the majority of the music on the album on the smallpipes, with some Highland pipes and one song 'Duncansby Head'. Keith Easdale provides accompaniments on cittern & whistle along with Celine Donoghue on fiddle, and guitarist Stuart Glasgow.The album is a collection of tunes by the Rev Alex Muir who was minister of Canisbay in Caithness from 1982-1991, and composed many of the tunes on the album during this time.
